Over Square Engine
That’s the technology implemented in RTR 180, an Over Squared engine that pick out 17.3 bhp @ 8500 RPM with a max torque of 15.5NM @ 6500 RPM is just mind blowing. With these values the bike is just a screamer and can easily reach top end without losing out its breath. To the stunners out there the bike can pull really good wheelies in 2nd gear and that is the amount of low end torque this bike possesses.





Roto Petal Disc Brake
The bike employs ROTO PETAL DISC BRAKES for both front and rear that can push all the power to a stop when required. With 270mm front and 200mm rear ROTO PETAL DISCS the bike never hegitates to stop and also for people who wants to know about the advantages of ROTO PETAL DISCS, it’s been proved that these discs enerates heat faster than the normal discs and provides a fool power of braking.




Digital cockpit
The blue cockpit console packs in enough stuff for the technology geeks in you,with info like two trip logs,max speed registeration and time,to mention a few it includes racing DNA so that u can recird ur maximum speed if u want.












Tail lamps
Leading from the rear are the led tails lamps "Light Emitting Diodes" are more powerful and ensure high visibility in all weather condition and are also blue as they consume less from the unit.











Head lamp
Incorporating both function and style the head lamps and the park lights have been integrated into the cowl for a sleek fifish. During night the brilliant liht throw of the head lights provides very good visibility.







Poly shocks
The rtr poly shocks take on every jump,and every pothole with impunity and dully them into submission. The poly shocks comes with a revolutionary technology where the rebound from a shocks transmitted from the road surface is dissipated as heat energy from the poly shocks,giving the rider a planted feel no matter what the surface.






Clip on handle bars
The handle bars on the rtr are designed based on insihts from racing unlikke conventional tubulur handle bars. The clip on unit seem on the rtr range consists of a base unit. It presents a sporty riding stances that is aerodynamic and easy to control. The clip ons are adjustable for 4 reach as seem on in high end bikes.






Wider Tyres
The Bike got the widest rear tire in the entire RTR series with a area of 110/ 80 that can put all the power on to the ground without hegitation at all. With all the above Features and Technology that no other bike has, the new RTR 180 is truly a racing pedigree that is waiting to unleash its power. Taking a test ride of the bike, the bike sounded and felt really amazing and doesn’t have the old boring complaints of its ancestors and you guys know what?, yes, the Vibration. TVS has this time did their work well on this issue and has bought the levels of Hardness and Vibrations down and this adds to the new feel of the bike wanting to accelerate faster and faster and coupled with a carburetor there is always some room for further improvements which can’t be done in the case of an FI. The bike accelerates faster and cleaner than the 160’s but not as clean as the FI. But who cares when it’s a screamer, the bike screams past against all the bigger competitors with ease and it surprises me each and every time when I think of that.



Exhaust
Designed with details that add to the sporty flavor of the bike. The silencer has been sound engineered as we understand that a huge part of the apache rtr 180 appeals lies in the kind of sound it makes.




Rearset Foot Pegs
The Bikes sporty lightweight foot pegs that are placed in the rear set giving the user the racing feel and also for the technical design contributes to the bike’s power to weight ratio. The sporty pegs are light weight and contribute to the power to weight ratio of the bike and the design. They are set in rear position to make sure evry riding is like a track riding experience.
